It offers over 950 classic and contemporary books available entirely for free or on a Pay-Per-Read basis (with sample installments available for free). You can read your installments wherever you receive e-mail/RSS feeds, including on your Blackberry and iPhone. You can read each installment in under 5 minutes and, if you have more time to read, you can receive additional installments immediately on demand. Titles include bestselling and award winning titles, from literary fiction and romance to language learning and science fiction. DailyLit features forums where you can discuss your favorite books and authors. There is also a gift service, where you can send books via DailyLit to friends, with installments starting on any date you choose and each installment comes with a personalized message written by you.

  1. I actually subscribe to DailyLit. It’s a great idea. It gave me the opportunity to read books I never would take th etime to read otherwise.

  2. Any advice on getting books written at very basic levels for adults? I tutor recovering drug addicts, some of whom are functionally illiterate, in reading, and have a hard time finding stuff that deals with grown up issues for them.

@MAI which books do you subscribe to? It’s a great idea, and especially for students who would otherwise not buy a book because it would be too long-winded..
@Dr.Jay unfortunately I can’t help you there, but I will sure let you know if I hear of any..
